Darlene Caldwell

MINISTRY EXPERIENCE: Darlene grew up in North Belmont. She began working with children in the church when she was just 16 years old at her home church, Sunset Forest. She has many years of Children’s Ministry experience from that point on, including 17 years at Second Baptist in Mt. Holly. She joined the staff at Pearl in the summer of 1998. We will be celebrating 25 years of service at Pearl in August 2023! She has held many other jobs throughout the years, including helping her husband at Ronnie’s Lawn Care Service. But, she shares that leading children in the church “is all I’ve ever been called to do”.

FAMILY: Darlene and her husband, Ronnie, have four married daughters (Stacy, Erica, Merodie, and Abby), 11 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.
